This can be hard on a turbo and motor and is not recommended. With the Race tune if you keep your foot out of it you get damn good mileage. Then the other day on a slow 2 lane highway trip I got 22mpg cruising along at around 60. These brakes typically use some sort of flapper to close which causes extreme exhaust back pressure to aide in braking. I got 18 mpg on a 80+ mph 400 mile trip a month or so ago running the SCT with an Extreme Race tune.

This turbo is meant for the guys who tow heavy, want quick spool, more power, but don't want the extra lag associated with other larger stage 1.5/pmax/S2 turbos.
